After lack of posts for a little while, here's the latest progress ( I have a good excuse- I've been either entrenched in the shed or partying in wales!)
Now engine, loom, wheels and front end have been fitted, electrics have been tested up with the nice new gel battery ( and they work!). Body work has been sent off for spraying and exhaust has been mounted. There's been a few snags along the way- a stuck adjuster in the sprocket cover that caused it to crack, sheered screw in the front brake master cylinder, a bearing that was determined not to leave the steering quill, and some mis-tapped threads in the frame (woops!), and worst of all now the whole bike is practically together the discovery of a sheered exhaust stud five threads in- roll on a day of fun with an electric drill! Anyway heres pics of progress for now....
